gil Avni

Before working at Friedman Roth, Gil began his career in the Accounting and financing industry, most notably with Deloitte & Touches’ Tax department, specializing in compliance and information reporting of various financial and real estate institutions throughout the world. After a few years at Deloitte & Touché, Gil spent a year working in private accounting as the Associate CFO for the leading wholesaler of Colombian Emeralds worldwide. Aside from the day to day accounting and finance responsibilities, Gil was responsible for the asset management of a number of high value real estate properties owned by the company, from single family properties, condominiums and commercial properties in Manhattan. Gil has always been intrigued by the real estate industry and recently made the switch to commercial investment sales.

Gil joined Friedman Roth in 2015 and as a sales associate with the company, he specialized in investment sales throughout the Greater New York Area, focusing primarily on multifamily, mixed use, retail, and development properties.

A native of New York, Gil graduated from Touro College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. He is fluent in English and Hebrew. He currently lives in Queens, NY with his wife and baby girl.
