SEAN Banilivy

Sean graduated from Boston University in 2011 with a degree in Hospitality Administration. He then took on a job as a sales accountant at Booking.com, where he was responsible for teaching hotel owners who to use the site to maximize the value of their properties. After a successful stint at Booking.com, Sean began working directly under the Director of Finance at the New York Palace Hotel, which boasts over 900 rooms and a 5-star rating. He was responsible for budgeting, auditing and other areas related to financial performance.

Before coming to Friedman Roth, Sean also worked for other major players int the hospitality industry. As part of Marriott International’s Development, Planning, and Feasibility Group, he was responsible for underwriting and conducting feasibility studies for over 100 proposed hotel developments throughout North America and Canada. At JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group in Investment Sales he was in charge of putting together Broker Opinion of Value, Underwriting, Market Analysis and participated in the disposition of multiple assets that equated to over $100+ million in transactions.

Today, Sean uses all these skills and experiences at Friedman Roth to broker deals throughout NYC.
